THEME

Inspired by the Second Smash Cooking Video Tutorial featuring our two favs, our fan-made SFW kacchako-themed cookbook will be split into two sections: Savory & Sweet, both full of art, fic, spot illustrations—and most importantly, recipes that remind us of our favorite ship!

IS THIS ZINE FOR PROFIT?

This will be a for-profit project. The profits will be going towards the production of the cookbook, merchandise, and shipping itself for all buyers. We will then be focusing on providing free full bundles to all contributors, though this can’t be a guarantee until the end of the preorder period. Any leftover profit will be split between the contributors.

WILL THE COOKING MEASUREMENTS BE USING THE METRIC OR IMPERIAL SYSTEM?

Our cookbook will be using the Imperial System with a Metric System conversion chart included!

HOW MANY CONTRIBUTORS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR? (NOT including guest contributors)

HOW MANY RECIPES WILL YOU BE FEATURING?

We will be featuring between 35-40 kacchako-themed recipes.

CAN CONTRIBUTORS APPLY FOR BOTH ARTIST AND WRITER ROLE?

Yes, however, contributors will only be accepted for one Writer or Artist role, not including Chef. If your recipe gets accepted along with your Writer/Artist application, you can be considered a Chef + whichever role you're accepted for.*Merch artists will be allowed to create a page or spot illustrations for the book if they desire to do so, but it will not be a role requirement. This will not take away spots from the Artist slots.

CONTRIBUTOR APPLICATION GUIDELINES

BE SURE TO HAVE ALL CORRECT LINKS TO SUBMITTED WORKS/PORTFOLIOS, WE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERING APPLICATIONS THAT DON’T CONTAIN WORKING LINKS

WRITERS

We are looking for:—Up to (3) SFW submitted pieces with a max combined word count of 9k
—Submissions can be excerpts just please give proper context and link the fic it is sampled from
—At least one piece in the BNHA universe and containing Kacchako as the main ship
—Please submit the pieces you are most proud of and think fit the theme/dynamics of the zine best
—(Optional) Feel free to link your AO3 or writing portfolio when prompted in the application

ARTISTS

We are looking for:—Up to (4) pieces with consistent style that showcase your best work
—At least (1) piece in the BNHA universe
—At least (1) piece containing Bakugou or Uraraka
—Comics are welcome
—These elements must be found in at least one piece:
-Fully colored
-Completed Background
-Full-body
—(Optional) Feel free to link your portfolio when prompted in the application
—(Optional) A piece showcasing how you draw food

MERCH ARTISTS

—Please submit samples of past designs similar to what you would like to create in this project. Pictures of physical items (like charms) will also be accepted.
—Please submit your best pieces/the ones you are most proud of
—It’s encouraged that at least (1) design pertains to the BNHA universe

CHEFS

—You can submit up to (5) recipes, where up to (2) recipe submissions may be accepted into the zine
—Clear, easy to read instructions of your recipe, amount of time it takes to make, and serving size
—Please keep in mind this will be an international-friendly cookbook and there may be ingredients in your recipe that won't be available in other regions. If your recipe gets selected, you will work with the mods to provide an acceptable alternative to also suggest!
—Spice levels, dish type, and potential food allergies will be filled in on the application form
—Cocktail recipes will be accepted
NOTE: Our cook-book will be using the Imperial System, so when applying, please make the appropriate conversions!
—(Optional) A kacchako-themed title for your recipe
—(Optional) A picture of the finished product
